This is not my recipe and I did not use it so I advise you not to use it if you are not on desperate need!
*I added that part!
Shortbread:
120 g butter must have been softened
50 g caster sugar
Vanilla essence
120g plain flour
50 g fine semolina
Extra sugar about 1 tablespoon.
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 20 mins
1.Preheat oven to 150 C
2..Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
3. Stir in vanilla.
4. Sift the flour and semolina, add it to the creamed stuff and mix well.
Make sure it doesn't stick to the sides of the bowl and then take the lump and with a rolling pin, roll it until it's just under 1 cm thick. You can cut out shapes and put them on the baking tray. This recipe makes about 25 hearts I think. Then you put it in the centre of the oven.
When you have baked it and it has cooled down, you can pour the sugar all over it.
Yum yum and it's all gone.
